...show me you

“i dont get it. women are gorgeous. the female body a feast.

why do people shoot women with the intention to delete all imaginary possible flaws? why not shoot them in such a way the result looks like a celebration of women? a picture that looks like a party for your eyes and everyone is invited!
i tried to practice what i preach today.
shoot women. bites lip*. cant wait to get those pics developed.”

fsufeminist:

This post is dedicated to the people who feel the need to tell others that they are ugly, that they are not beautiful people.
This is the most I’ve ever exposed on my blog, but I see it necessary because of the way our culture exists (and I was also inspired by my friend Megan, who posed nude in our school’s newspaper). Anyone deemed “ugly” by their arbitrary standards is supposed to be invisible, unseen. Whether it’s your skin color, body size, gender expression, etc., we’re made to feel lesser than. Because I’m a size 12/14 at 5’5”, I’m not considered beautiful by many, and have been reminded of this many times.
Well guess what? I’m not going into hiding. For every insult or attack you throw at me, I’m coming back with that much more confidence and positivity. This is for anyone who’s been made to feel atrocious or disregarded for not being “pretty enough” or “skinny enough” or “curvy enough”, or whatever seemed to be “wrong” with them. We need to stand up and tell those who try to bring us down to fuck off.
Also, HI to all the people on here who know me IRL.
