It is one thing to be told of your beauty…another to believe it yourself. Each day is another step towards acceptance. Don’t look away from the reflection in disgust or repeat those nasty words to yourself in silence. You are beautiful. In heart. In mind. In soul. In body. Because when you don’t love yourself…there is no room to love another.
Your words are so inspiring and honest.
It certainly is sometimes a process to learn how to love yourself, but it is often a wonderful journey. You’re given the rare opportunity to discover and rediscover different parts of yourself to find that they are beautiful. I hope that you’ll be able to “believe” in it soon.
